How to test

How to test spread & latency

Ping test — from VPS to broker — Run ping [broker-server-address] in the VPS Command Prompt and note the average time.

MT4/MT5 built-in speed test — On the chart, right-click → Trading → Speed test.

Check live spread during the London/NY session — Spread readings are most accurate during the high-volume session (roughly 6:30–9:30 PM IST).

Run the robot on a demo account for 24 hours — Before going live, count requotes and slippage in the Journal tab.

Retest every month — Numbers can change if the broker's infrastructure or the VPS location changes, so keep testing periodically.
