Live majors stream from Kraken's public forex feed (mid-point of best bid and ask). All other currencies use daily reference rates from open.er-api.com, with the ECB feed via Frankfurter as a backup and a built-in snapshot if both are unreachable.
Every result is tagged LiveDaily or Offline. These are mid-market reference rates. Your bank or broker will quote a different rate that includes its spread.
